After Lockdown1 the Prime Minister cried "Build, build, build!" and put construction at the heart of the recovery. The sector has thus escaped Lockdown2 and life continues as normal at Hilltop...meaning new deals, projects progressing and and a busy run up to Christmas.
 

New project funded
We've recently completed a new loan facility of £2m for a site acquisition, development of four new detached houses, and refurbishment of an existing semi-detached house in the Wiltshire village of Latton. The development sits on the edge of a National Nature Reserve and is a short drive from both the Cotswolds and Swindon.

Site visits
From Devon to Dunbartonshire, Barnstaple to Brighton, site visits are an essential stage of our due diligence process. As the post-Covid race for space continues, we have some fantastic projects in the funding pipeline - watch out for a flurry of announcements either side of the Christmas break!
 
 

Development progress
Of the most advanced projects being funded, there is reasonably little sign of the negative impact of the pandemic on schedules:

* Hexham, Northumberland - works near complete; show home ready pre-Xmas with final units delivered shortly thereafter; unit sales progressing to expectations
* Ashford, Kent - 1st two blocks anticipated to be complete by Spring 2021
* Willesden, London - demolition of original structure underway; technical design underway
* South Molton, Devon - groundworks underway
 
 

Hilltop wins (first) award
We jumped the gun slightly announcing this a few months ago whilst results were under a press blackout. Well, it's now official - our first award! Great to see the hard work paying off...
