We're back to a full office and busy as always. Our pipeline of deals is looking bigger than ever before. More work means growth - we're looking to take on new staff and expand our St James' offices...it's shaping up to be a solid 2nd half of a difficult year.
 

Whiteboard strategy planning
In 33 degrees of heat the team took to shorts and flip-flops and a day defining our strategy for the coming year. We were joined by strategists from our JV partner, Round Hill Capital, to identify growth opportunities and how we can improve our service.
 
 

Hexham progress
Progress at Hexam continues bang on track and things are really starting to move on the sales front too. The hoardings are up; the interior design has been finalised; the sales team is in full swing and the development has its new official name - Montague Court. Best still, the team already have 23 interested parties....things are looking good for a successful exit!

Equity Rolodex
We had our largest pref equity raise to date for Litchfield's development in Kingston Upon Thames, London. In just a few weeks the team has managed to complete the raise and some...Appetite for the platform goes from strength to strength and for those who missed out this time round there's several more opportunities being finalised - watch this space.

North Devon site visit
Site visits form an integral part of the extensive due diligence we conduct on each and every development. The team went down to inspect the location of a new deal we're close to signing - 23 residential units overlooking the River Taw in North Devon. Coming soon. Equity required!  
 
 
Hot off the press
There have been more twists and turns in the first half of 2020 than on a roller coaster. CBRE looks at the question: "Is a residential rebound on the cards?" and paints one of the more upbeat scenarios to have been published since lockdown ended.
